Data Deletion Request
Story Circle respects your right to have your personal data removed from our systems. You can request deletion at any time using either of the methods below, and we will process your request within 30 days.
Remove via Facebook
If you signed up using Facebook Login, you can revoke Story Circle's access directly from Facebook. This will immediately disconnect your Facebook account and trigger automatic deletion of all linked data within 30 days.
- Log in to your Facebook account.
- Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- In the left sidebar, click Security and Login.
- Scroll down and click Apps and Websites.
- Find Story Circle in the list and click Remove.
- Confirm the removal when prompted.
Once removed, Story Circle will no longer have access to your Facebook data, and your account data will be scheduled for deletion within 30 days.
Request Deletion by Email
You can also contact us directly to request deletion of your account and associated data. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include your registered email address or the name associated with your Facebook account so we can locate your records.
We will confirm receipt of your request and complete the deletion within 30 days. If we need any additional information to verify your identity, we'll reach out before proceeding.
What Gets Deleted
Upon processing a deletion request, we remove the following data from our systems:
- Your Story Circle account and login credentials.
- Your profile data, including display name and profile picture.
- All stories, comments, and other content associated with your account.
- Facebook-sourced information: your name, email address, and profile picture obtained through Facebook Login.
Anonymized, aggregate analytics data (such as general usage statistics that cannot be tied back to you) may be retained for the purpose of improving the platform.
