Content you create. Stories, comments, reactions, and any other content you post on Story Circle are stored on our servers and associated with your account.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the platform — pages visited, features used, time spent, and actions taken — to understand how people use Story Circle and where we can improve.

Device and technical information. We automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers when you access the service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to create and maintain your account, deliver the features and functionality of Story Circle, and ensure the security and integrity of our platform.

We also use your data to understand how the service is used so we can improve it, and to communicate with you about updates, policy changes, or responses to your support requests. We will not use your personal information for purposes unrelated to Story Circle without your consent.

3. Facebook Login Data

Story Circle uses Facebook Login to make signing up quick and easy. When you choose to log in with Facebook, we access your name, email address, and profile picture from your Facebook account. This data is used solely to create and identify your Story Circle account.

We do not post to Facebook on your behalf, access your friend list, read your messages, or collect any Facebook data beyond what is listed above. You can revoke Story Circle's access to your Facebook account at any time through your Facebook settings — see our Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating Story Circle (such as hosting, analytics, and email delivery), but only to the extent necessary to perform those services, and under confidentiality agreements.

We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Story Circle or others.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request deletion of your account and associated data, we will process that request and remove your information from our active systems within 30 days. Backup systems are fully purged within 30 days of the deletion request.

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate data, and request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. 7. Cookies

Story Circle uses session cookies to keep you logged in while you use the platform. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser or log out. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. Essential cookies necessary for the service to function cannot be disabled.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Story Circle is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete that information promptly.
